From India… to Bharat

What is there in a NAME? Everything! Happy Independence Day. Let us truly be free and on this Independence day. Let us remove the British name India. In my private, I have stopped using the word India. I dream of a Bharat that is only Bharat. We should have a name that is historical and ancient. We have changed Bombay, Bangalore, Orissa, Connaught Place… How can our country have two names? The British deliberately meddled with our identity and now we are still using word that was name of a company. It is time we go for the last big change. Let us have only: Bharat- Government of Bharat Reserve Bank of Bharat State Bank of Bharat And even private parties should come up voluntarily for change – so our newspapers should be read as Times of Bharat, Bharat Express.
